New Commuter Clinic
May 9th, 6:30-8:30 pm Community Foundation of NCW (9 S. Wenatchee Ave. just south of Palouse st.)
Bring your bike, your questions and your interest to an open house aimed at getting you ready to ride your commute. Members of the Wenatchee Valley Velo, the Regional Bicycle Advisory Board and local Advocates will help you:
- Find a safe route from home to work
- Check out your bike and inform you of what you might need to make your commute better
- Learn the best practices regular bike commuters use to stay safe, be seen and arrive in style!

First Ever Bike Swap
May 11th, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 pm, Wenatchee Valley Tech Skills Center (327 Penny Rd, Across from LINK Transit HQ)
Do you need a bike? Do you have a few too many bikes? Come to the First Ever Wenatchee Valley Bike Swap and you will get what you need. The swap will have space for 30 sellers so be sure to reserve your spot if you have something to sell. If you are looking for a deal be sure to get here early!! Entry to the swap for buyers is just $5 (kids under 15 are free) and all money raised will go towards the development of a Youth bicycle education and repair program for needy and at risk kids in our community.

Don't have enough stuff to rent a spot? Just want to get rid of a bike and give someone a new ride for a great deal? We will consign your bike, but only if you price it to sell!! Bring your bike, whole and in working order, to the swap between 8:00 and 9:00 am to check it in and we'll get it sold!

RIDE WITH THE MAYOR
On Friday May 17th join Mayor Frank Kuntz, Patrick Walker (Bike/Ped planner) and other city officials on a ride around Wenatchee. The ride will be approx 4.5 miles long and last for roughly two hours. Come join us on a ride and discussion on how we can work together with the city to improve our streets and make bicycles a real transportation option for our community!
When: Friday May 17th, 1:30-3:30 pm
Where: Ride starts and finishes at Pybus Market (at the railcar)

For bike week you can log your miles and win prizes from local bike shops! Just click on the image below to go to our bike week tally, ride your bike and log your miles! Teams and individuals are encouraged to participate!
Bike To Work Day!
Friday May 17th
On Friday morning from 6:30-8:30am the Regional Bicycle Advisory Board will be set up to reward you for riding your bike to work! Two Appreciation Stations will be set up; one at Wenatchee Ave and First Street, and the other at the bottom of 9th street and the Pipeline bridge.
Free coffee and breakfast goodies from our local sponsors will be shared with all who arrive by bike! Bike mechanics from Arlberg Sports and Bruces Mobile Bike Werks will give your bike a checkup and all who stop by will be entered in a great prize raffle.
Bike to Lunch on Friday to Garlinis and you'll receive a free personal size pizza! Come on down and bring a friend, there will be lot's of bike parking out front! Offer is good from 11-2pm.
Bike to Yoga in the evening when iLa Yoga will be offering a free Hot Yoga class for anyone who shows up on a bike. The class begins at 5:30, so don't miss it!
